Genoa is mostly on a hill. Driving there is quite the challenge and many Italians will their autos down by the train station and take a local bus to their destination. From my experience the bus drivers must have some Formula 1 driving and racing experience. Their ability to drive up and down the hilly streets, which are constantly curving, without hitting anything, is purely miraculous. Notice the apartments in the back round have an entrance from the hill across a bridge to the roof of the building. The building, naturally, has a ground level entrance. Interesting concept to say the least.
